This site is aimed at people who use Collectorz.com software for their collections, in particular Movie and Book Collectors.
The Collectorz.com software is excellent in it's own right with many years of development behind all their products. If you're looking for easy to learn, easy to use, intuitive software for cataloging your collection, then their database programs are the ones to use.
Over the years with such excellent software, a community of users has grown up around the Collectorz.com products. Alwin and his team at Collectorz have always made it very easy for the user to change the content collected and the look of that content when exported to the web.
With the latest version of Movie Collector and Book Collector they have moved to a single source for data, the Collectorz .com on line databases. This, in today's market makes perfect sense and means their software will no longer be reliant on other web sites. For the average user this is a great move making their software even better, simplifying the data collection process. For the few users who have customized their collections over the years however, this has made it a little more tricky to continue adding entries with the same degree of individuality. To help with this CollectorToolz was born.
CollectorToolz.co.uk has been started by two of these more demanding users, DaveC and Mark Brading. Between us we have made many templates, scripts and other tools for use with the Collectorz.com programs. We hope to continue doing this and invite other users to join with us on this site. This is a completely separate effort to theCollectorz team, with no in put from them.
CollectorToolz.co.uk is run by users, for users! If you would like to help then drop us a line.
